James Wilson recently joined the CityView Research & Development team as an application developer.
After completing a degree in Computer Information Systems at the University of the Fraser Valley (in British Columbia), James spent over a decade working in the Learning Management System industry.Starting as a software developer, he gradually moved into implementations: first as a customization developer, then as a trainer, and finally as a software implementer. In this role, he has travelled all over North America, and occasionally beyond (over 40 distinct airports at last count). He has also completed his “Lean Greenbelt” in Lean Process Improvement.
James is also a space travel buff, an avid hiker, and early adopter of Virtual Reality. Two years ago, he completed Vancouver Island’s West Coast Trail, and is currently looking for his next adventure. It is a dream of his to someday race in the Mongol Rally – a race from London, England to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia in a “beater” car worth no more than $1,000.
