Township of Clearview Goes Digital with CityView, in Preparation for Future Growth

While the Ontario’s township population stands at only 15,000 today, it is expected to double over the next 20 years. Clearview is planning ahead by embracing CityView’s advanced technologies, taking advantage of the Provinces Service modernization funding for small and rural communities.

Township of ClearviewCityView is pleased to welcome the Township of Clearview as its 34th customer in the province of Ontario, Canada. Clearview is nestled between Blue Mountains to the West, Collingwood and Wasaga Beach to the North, and Springwater to the East – giving plenty of CityView customers in the area some great networking opportunities.

Clearview sought a software system that would be reliable, affordable and flexible enough to provide the Township with the ability to expand its capacity in the future. Approximately 90 minutes north of Toronto, Clearview is planning ahead for future growth by embracing CityView’s advanced technologies today. While the Township’s population currently stands at 15,000, it is expected to rise as people seek the benefits of small-town living.

Currently using time-intensive manual processes for plan reviews, permits and inspections, Clearview is looking forward to implementing the CityView Suite in order to transfer these essential business functions to digital ones, thus increasing efficiency and productivity throughout its departments.

“Clearview is excited to improve efficiencies, streamline records management and enhance the customer service experience with the CityView platform, says the chief building official, Scott McLeod.When the platform is fully implemented, our residents will have the ability to submit building and planning applications online at their convenience and without having to visit the administration centre in person.”
