Scott County, MN To Go Paperless with CityView

Scott County has added CityView Electronic Plans Review and CityView Mobile to its CityView Suite

Scott CountyScott County, MN will soon enjoy a paperless review process using CityView’s Electronic Plans Review (EPR) . CityView’s EPR will help the County streamline its review process while improving communication among staff and departments. The exceptional capabilities of CityView for submittal tracking, approval routing, version control and workflow are combined with the PDF creation, editing, markup and collaboration features of Bluebeam Bluebeam Revu, and Bluebeam Studio Prime. With CityView’s EPR solution, Scott County will be able to easily circulate, review, mark up and compare documents, plans and construction drawings and collaborate online, in real time.

Scott County has been using CityView’s Property Information, Permits & Inspections, Planning, Code Enforcement and Cashiering modules since 2006, when it was one of the fastest growing counties in not only the state of Minnesota, but the entire U.S. The County has one of the most comprehensive tracking of septic permits and systems tracking (ISTS) with almost 9,000 properties having their own treatment systems.

In addition to EPR, the Scott County will be implementing CityView Mobile for permitting and code enforcement; CityView Portal to provide citizens with self-service options; and Microsoft Word Add-In , which will allow the County to merge CityView data seamlessly into its letter outputs while taking advantage of Microsoft’s powerful editing features.

Scott County is located on the outskirts of the Twin Cities with a population of nearly 140,000. There’s no doubt that it will continue to see a healthy return on investment from its CityView software purchase for many more years to come.
