The City of Airdrie, Alberta, Canada is a long-time CityView customer, making tremendous use of the CityView suite of solutions for Permitting, Business Licensing, Animal Licensing and Bylaw Enforcement. The initial implementation of CityView provided Airdrie with a new means to easily measure service and performance, a change which helped facilitate the City’s revamping of its processes and practices in pursuit of service excellence.
The most recent phase in that pursuit is to offer citizens and contractors paperless self-service. To that end Airdrie recently added the CityView citizen and contractor Portal, Electronic Plans Review, Mobile inspections and online payments. CityView Portal will increase self service options for citizens; Electronic Plans Review will improve permit turnaround time in the Building department; and Mobile will increase inspector efficiency in the field.
