CityView Allows Cherokee County, GA to “Do More with Less”
At last week’s Harris Customer Training Conference, Cherokee County, GA presented on the positive impact CityView software has had on county operations. Kevin Cully, Business Analyst and Database Administrator for the County, presented to CityView attendees. Cherokee County has an entirely paperless permitting and licensing process. 
Kevin noted over 6,000 contractors, citizens, and other stakeholders have registered for Cherokee’s online services powered by CityView – and more register each day. Some of these online services include electronic plans review, online inspection scheduling, permit applications, and business license renewals.
Going paperless has provided the County with faster processing and greater visibility in the application workflow for all stakeholders. Kevin noted an increase in out of state investment in the County and cited the efficient application and permitting process within CityView as a contributing factor!
