CityView is thrilled to announce the newest addition to our Support team, Chandimal Jayaminda. With a wealth of experience and a passion for technology, Chandimal brings a dynamic skill set and fresh perspective to our organization.
Chandimal began his career as a developer at the Bank of Ceylon, followed by roles at prestigious institutions such as the London Stock Exchange group, where he provided crucial support for platforms like LSE, Turquoise Exchange, Borsa Exchange and Oslo exchanges as an application services engineer. His tenure at Sysco Corporation as a senior cloud engineer further solidified his reputation as a proficient and adaptable technologist.
Educationally, Chandimal boasts an impressive background, holding a Bachelor of Science with a specialization in computer systems and network engineering from the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology. He pursued higher education at the University of Bedfordshire, UK, where he obtained a Master of Business degree. Additionally, his thirst for knowledge led him to earn a post-degree diploma in data analytics from Douglas College, British Columbia.
Originally from Sri Lanka, Chandimal journey brought him to Canada in December 2022 to pursue his post-degree diploma in data analytics.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Chandimal has a passion for outdoor adventures, an appreciation for country music and a penchant for exploring diverse cuisines.
