CityView, a leader in community development and permitting software for local government organizations, is on the lookout for an accomplished individual to assume the crucial position of vice president of professional services.

**The impact you'll make**

As the V.P. of professional services, you will be at the helm of delivering top-notch solutions to CityView customers. Working closely with the executive vice president and a dynamic executive team, your responsibilities will encompass a broad spectrum of tasks, all aimed at ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

**Strategic management of the professional services team**

- Day-to-day oversight of PS team resources, ensuring high levels of service
- Establishing and monitoring clear, measurable objectives for the PS team, providing coaching and discipline as necessary
- Tracking and analyzing utilization and billability, presenting regular reports to the executive management team
- Providing rolling 12-month revenue and cost forecasts

**Operational excellence**

- Conducting performance reviews and managing departmental structure, including hiring and terminations
- Proactively managing customer communication and issue resolution, ensuring contractual obligations are met
- Planning and scheduling departmental activities to ensure adequate project staffing
- Overseeing change orders on projects and directly engaging in selling services back to the base

**Process improvement and relationship building**

- Maintaining, adjusting and improving implementation methodologies
- Identifying and implementing new processes as needed
- Developing and strengthening relationships with customers, especially those facing challenges
- Presenting financial, project and customer-related information to senior management

**Qualifications and what we're looking for**

To excel in this role, CityView is seeking candidates with a specific set of qualifications and attributes:

- 5+ years of direct management experience in professional services
- 10+ years of experience in a professional services organization
- Proven competency with P&L, OPEX and revenue forecasting
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams and enhance performance
- Experience managing teams of 25 people or more in a remote environment
- Project management understanding specific to large software implementations
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Excel and MS Project
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including financial literacy
- Post-secondary degree in technology or business management

**What would make you stand out**

- High motivation, results-oriented mindset and effective time management in the face of competing priorities
- Knowledge of enterprise, business-critical, software/database applications
- Experience with local government business processes is considered an asset
