Municipal Solutions Group inc. Announces Executive Changes
and Restructuring
Victoria, BC, October 25, 2007 - Municipal Solutions Group Inc. (TSX-V: MSZ) (“Municipal Software” or the “Company”) announces the resignation of Iain McLean as President, CEO and Director of Municipal Solutions Group Inc. The Board of Municipal Software has appointed Dennis Asbury, Vice President Sales, as President and CEO.
“We thank Iain for his commitment and vision. He played a central role by leading Municipal Software through major changes over the last three years,” said Chairman, David Roberts. “Iain has been a dedicated, untiring leader and we value his substantial contribution. We wish him every success with his future plans.”
The new President and CEO of Municipal Software is Dennis Asbury. Before joining the Company as Vice President Sales, Mr. Asbury held positions as Vice President Sales & Marketing and Vice President Operations at Harris Computer Systems, a division of Constellation Software (TSX: CSU) that supplies software solutions to municipalities, utilities and schools. Mr. Asbury has a successful track record of meeting sales targets, controlling costs and achieving net bottom line results.
The Company also announced that it has implemented a staff restructuring that will further reduce its operating expenses while maintaining high standards of customer service and support. A total of seven positions have been eliminated across the Company.
