CityViewTM Code Enforcement PreBuiltTM to Automate Village of Plainfield, IL's Police Department
Victoria, B.C., April 13, 2006 - Municipal Software (TSX-V:MSZ) is pleased to announce that on March 31, the Village of Plainfield, IL, chose the CityView Code Enforcement PreBuilt to automate its police department activities and to provide the first step towards web-based, interactive-services for its citizens. The Village will also use the CityView Application Builder tools to create an integrated system for managing Public Works.
"We needed to replace our existing system. Rapid growth over recent years has placed increasing demands on the Village. The CityView solution provided us with an integrated vision that will enable us to provide improved service to our community," said Don Bennett, Chief of Police.
Together with the Code Enforcement PreBuilt, the CityView Application Builder will provide a one-stop solution for all public service requests. "The implementation of CityView will increase the efficiency and improve the workflow between Public Works Divisions and all Village Departments," said Allen Persons, Director of Public Works.
