City of Evansville selects CityView PreBuilt solutions from Municipal Software

Municipal Software (TSX-V:MSM) is pleased to announce that the City of Evansville, IN has purchased CityView PreBuilts to meet the city's immediate need to automate a range of business processes and offer the best possible service to citizens. According to Evansville's Chief Information Officer Matt Arvay, "The CityView solution was the unanimous choice of our review committee because it's easy to use yet flexible enough to grow with us. We need to streamline business processes while providing new and improved e-government services internally and to our citizens and CityView will allow us to do this."
Based on 23 years of best practices by more than 140 local governments across North America, CityView PreBuilts will automate the City of Evansville's permitting, planning, commercial site review, inspections, code enforcement, complaint tracking, work order management and contractor licensing processes. Building Commissioner Roger Lehman explains that thanks to this purchase, several city-wide goals will be met including the need to "provide online access to information and provide the public, including contractors, with the ability to transact business electronically. We will be able to improve response time to citizen complaints, provide rapid communication between inspectors and contractors, communicate information on specific projects between government agencies and reduce staff time spent on paper work."

The city will also purchase CityView Application Builder from Municipal Software, a powerful set of application software development tools. This will reduce outside consulting costs and increase our return on investment, which means an enormous savings to our taxpayers.
