Bridgeport Chooses CityView Prebuilts from Municipal Software to Improve Permit Management Process
Victoria, B.C., January 8, 2007 - Municipal Software (TSX-V:MSZ) announced today that Bridgeport, CT has purchased the CityView PreBuilt software solutions including Property Information, Permits & Inspections, Code Enforcement, Planning, Cashiering and all related implementation services and training.
The project will be completed in two phases. The first phase will involve a detailed analysis of the City’s network infrastructure, along with a detailed analysis of the City’s current business process and how they might be streamlined using the CityView PreBuilts. Following the initial analysis the second phase will commence to fully implement and train City staff on the new solution.
According to John M. Fabrizi, Mayor of Bridgeport, “The City is committed to improving its permit management process. Our goal is to consolidate information into CityView that will be more easily accessible to users and to allow for in-house maintenance and updates.”
