Town of Waterford CT to implement Municipal Software's CityView System

Municipal Software Corporation, a leading developer of local government business process automation software, announced today that the Town of Waterford, CT has purchased CityView to automate their Community Development department. The total value of the contract is $126,500 (US).

The areas to be automated include Board/Commission approvals (Planning/Zoning, and Conservation), Permit tracking, Health approvals and Complaint Tracking. The Town also plans to increase the interaction between the Department of Public Works, Police, Assessor, Fire and Utilities through the use of CityView. Future plans include deployment of on-line services to the Web. CityView will be integrated with the Town's GIS (ArcView).

Waterford is located on the east coast of the US on Long Island Sound about 40 miles southeast of Hartford.
