Glenview, Illinois to Implement Municipal Software's CityView System

Municipal Software Corporation, a leading developer of local government business process automation software, announced today the Village of Glenview, Illinois has purchased CityView to automate their Community Development, Licensing and Complaint Tracking systems. The total value of the Glenview contract is $148,000 (US).

The integrated system will provide the village with the ability to fully automate its community planning and development, building permitting and inspection, as well as privileges licensing, customer service and complaint tracking. These systems will be completely integrated with the village's accounts receivable, work order and GIS (geographic information system). Additionally, Glenview will be using CityView to automate its field inspection activities using database synchronization and eventually, wireless devices.

The Village of Glenview is a suburb of Chicago and has a population of approximately 40,000. The village has committed to implementing the new system within the next six months. The CityView implementation includes on-site training for village employees and data conversion services.
