City of Denver Extends CityView to Building Permit and Wastewater Management Departments

Municipal Software Corporation, a leading developer of local government business process automation software, announced today that its original contracts with the City and County of Denver have been extended to include the Building Permit Center and the Wastewater Management departments. With the contract extensions of $282,000 (US), the total value of the Denver contract amounts to $726,500 (US).

CityView provides municipal administrators and managers with a scaleable and reliable technology for increasing employee and departmental productivity, and servicing the ever-growing needs of citizens throughout North America.

Denver, with a population of 595,000 has committed to implementing new building permit and wastewater management systems for the city. The combined systems will integrate and track property and assessment data, as well as providing map views and the required reports for each department. The CityView implementation also includes on-site training for city employees and data conversion services.

Rob Bennett, President of Municipal Software commented, "With the extension of CityView to the building permit and wastewater management departments, Denver can now realize a long-standing goal: to provide a single, integrated solution for processing applications, where data from various agencies can be shared. Now, duplication is eliminated and information can flow easily among various departments."

The contract extensions demonstrate the versatility and functionality of the CityView suite of products. The imaging and mapping capabilities of CityView can be used to view property, and CityView can be easily modified by Denver staff to allow complete customization.

Bennett concluded, "Our contract extensions with Denver demonstrate the city's confidence in our company, products and technology. We take pride in Denver's decision to utilize CityView on a multi-departmental basis and in the long-term investment the city has made with Municipal Software."
