Municipal Software, a North American leader in Local Government automation, is currently looking for Implementation Specialists to analyze client requirements and configure our award-winning CityView software to meet the stated specifications. We are looking for people with a background in business that enjoy client facing activities and possess a technical aptitude.

The Implementation Specialist will provide application specific consulting services to customers, facilitate business process review sessions including gap analysis, escalate client issues to Project Managers, participate in project planning sessions, provide training related to implementing and utilizing CityView and follow up with customers on application issues.

Successful candidates will have completed a post-secondary degree, diploma or certificate. Knowledge of data conversion, business process review, and/or software development processes are an asset. Up to 50% travel within Canada and the USA is required.
 
A background in the following areas is highly desirable but not required:

• Business analysis or application development
• Learning and using Windows-based applications
• Troubleshooting basic software problems
• Technical writing and/or business requirements definition
• Software training and/or technical support
• SQL Server or Microsoft Access database tools
• Experience working with government agencies
